About this event
13th June Pouch Making with the School of Irish Archaeology on Level 3 in Dublinia between 11:00 – 16:00.
Medieval Draw-String Pouch Workshop. Our leather workshop allows children to make their very own medieval draw-string pouch. Led by a School of Irish Archaeology staff member, learn about the foul process of leather working. From the initial removal of hide to the preparation of leather in the tanner's yard, to when it is finally ready to wear. The gory, mucky details of this process are included.
Timed sessions: 11.00am/11.45am/12.30pm/1.45pm/2.30pm/3.15pm
Included in general admission.
